It’s that time of year again—we’re approaching November’s Writing Challenge, where writers all over the world try to complete a novel of 50,000 words in 30 days.
Sure November is not here yet, but you’ll need this time to prepare for your novel. The best place to start is in the “research department” 😉
You’re probably wondering Why Research?
Well, here’s why research is vital: To have the facts and parts of history–in your novel–to be as accurate as possible, or at least close enough, depending on your genre. For instance, you may not want to write about an American Southern Belle traipsing around the plantation with a Toaster Strudel in her hand, nor a mailboy of WW2 carrying secret messages around in his iPhone. Therefore, do your research.
