Being parents of two under three has not been a walk in the park for my husband, Alex, and me. Having both of our children during the pandemic also doesn’t help. During a time when masks and social distancing was enforced, along with having to relocate work to home, we felt pretty isolated, lost, and alone.
Although we are officially out of the pandemic, changes have been slower than we would have hoped. Getting together with others is still an odd thing to do, and not everyone is comfortable with physically meeting up. Not to mention it’s hard getting out of the house after a long day of work, making dinner, and tending to the kids. Hence we have decided to create a meet-up/social group for parents online. (Children are welcome, as our two little ones will be around.)
Topics we hope to connect with other parents about include: parenting, mental health, education, and more. (Suggestions, ideas, other topics are welcome.)
